This afternoon we took a boat to Lokrum Island, less than a mile from the city harbor. The island has an old monestary, mostly in ruins, a beautiful botanical garden, lots of hiking trails, beaches if you want, and a path called “The path to Paradise” which takes you to the remains of a fort at the high point of the island with great views of the city and the sea. There are also numerous peacocks and rabbits on your stroll.
