Adelaide is a garden city, with parks completely surrounding it and throughout the downtown area. It is also a very “tolerant” city. Lots of partying into the wee hours (not us), relatively open use of drugs and a great tolerance of gays, lesbians and alternative life styles.
After breakfast this morning we walked around the downtown and university area to the Botanical Gardens. Then a quick stop at the art museum and museum of South Australia. The gardens were very special. Along with the wonderful plant species there again were loads of colorful and noisy birds.
