Today the winds are howling. Steady at 35 knots with gusts over 40. Rain continues, but the good news is that Hurricane Joaquin is heading out to sea and is no longer a concern for us. A lot of preparation but better to be safe than sorry (you can see Enchante’ stripped of all canvas and items that were on the deck). Fortunately our Marina is extremely well protected and the waters are very calm in spite of the wind.Cheryl and I took time at the salon across the street to get “appropriately ready” for the wedding we will be attending in VT tomorrow. Walking back we noted that the ducks were not very happy with the weather either. This afternoon it was fun and games with Ken and Sue, first aboard Enchante’ and then on Windward Passage. The weather should be blowing out of here by the end of the weekend and next week should again be sunny with temps in the 70’s. We will be babysitting our grandkids while Ann and Mike take 4 days in Napa. Hopefully Ken and Sue will be back on the water exploring the bay. We will be checking back in a few days.
