We headed back to the Adriatic Riviera on the beautiful Croatian coast. Upon our arrival we figured out that Zadar in English translates to …You can’t find parking here! We eventually did and walked through the Venetian Gate up the old Roman Road to the area of the forum. In addition to the remnants of the forum there was the beautiful circular St. Anastasia church dating from the 11th century and the St. Mary’s convent. One other unique attraction was an organ on the seawall which is played by the wave action and the wind. You can see the pipe openings in the wall.
