Cheryl and I got into Game Of Thrones this morning when she tried to steal some of my breakfast. Then it was off to Fort Lovrjhenac, the high fort on the tall rock outcropping surrounded on three sides by water just outside the city walls (you’ve seen it in prior pictures). We learned that a good portion of GOT was filmed here and on the beaches surrounding it. A slow stroll on the Stadun and then time to say Dovidenja to Dubrovnik and Croatia. So as we sail off into the sunset we have fond memories of a wonderful country, wonderful people, and wonderful scenery. As Anthony Bourdain said, and I quote….”If you have not visited Croatia, you must be stupid.” This is a place that should be on everyone’s list.
