So for those of you who guessed golf, it was a logical bit incorrect guess. In 1881 the town built a breakwater that was one mile long to protect the harbor from rough seas during storms. They then put a lighthouse at the end of the breakwater. We did the two mile walk to visit the lighthouse. Then we enjoyed the amenities of the Samoset Resort with swimming, hot tub, drinks and a superb dinner. Back on board now and time to recharge for tomorrow.
