Today we visited eastern Acadia Park. We hiked the Otter Cliffs and spent time at Thunder Hole (not much thunder as the winds were light and the seas calm). A perfect place for a picnic lunch. A few errands in town, a bit of rest, and then a second hike to the Asticou Gardens just a short dingy ride from our boat. The gardens were spectacular and well worth the uphill climb. They were also very quiet as they are not one of Acadia’s main attractions as they are outside the park boundary, but we’re very glad we went. Italian night aboard Enchante tonight.
