With less than 24 hours before departure we received an email from our New Delhi hotel, The Taj Palace, that we had been thrown out by Barak Obama and his entourage. Fortunately they put us up in a club suite in their sister hotel, The Taj Mahal which is just as beautiful. We met Alan and Lois this morning after a quick nights sleep and took a private cab to the large exquisite Hindu Temple Complex called Akshardham (no pictures allowed) and the Safdarjung Tomb. We also did some preliminary looking around in the markets. Now it’s happy hour!
