With a thunderstorm to our west which was safely drifting off to the south, the four of us boarded Enchante’ for a early evening sail last night through what is called The Thread of Life. It is a very narrow passage which is quite deep however just east of Christmas Cove between the high granite cliffs to our west and some small islets of rock and stone to our east where the surf breaks loudly. It was a beautiful evening for the sail and the sounds of the surf breaking and the spray off of the waves will stay with us for quite some time.
