One Last Morning in Aguas Calientes, One Crazy Train Ride, and One Nice Evening in Cusco

This morning Cheryl and I strolled a different section of Aguas Calientes (Yes, everyone calls it by that name even though it has been officially changed) to the cemetery and a different grouping of sculptures. These sculptures represented traditional Incan dances. Then we boarded the train (Yup, we took the A Train) for the ride back to Ollantaytambo. About half way down the train stopped while one of the conductors in full dress did an Incan dance, which was followed by a full male and female fashion show of the latest in Alpaca wear. This was a first for Cheryl and me. When we finally arrived we grabbed some lunch in the Corazon Cafe (all profits go to children’s causes) and then off to Cusco. Arriving in Cusco at elevation 11,000′ it was much cooler so we changed and headed to the Plaza de Armas to stroll around for a bit and then grab a delicious dinner at The Inca Grille.
