After a quick fix of a minor wire on the mast we departed for Jewell Island, touted as one of the prettiest islands in Casco Bay (Casco Bay has 220 islands). It used to serve as a military watch in WW II but is now a nature preserve with beaches and hiking trails. We hiked to the towers for the view and then around the perimeter. This was followed by Sundowners on Enchante’ with two other cruising couples we met in the harbor while we watched the sun disappear over the horizon. Another beautiful Maine day.

Th pictures are beautiful, and your faces are alight with glow – happy sailing.
Love,
Phyllis and Barry
