Started this AM in a Parisan style cafe with coffee and interesting bites. Strolled some more through the town to look at the architecture (note the neat golden windvane on top of city hall) and then went to The Portland Art Museum. Great collection including a lot of Winslow Homer who made his home and studio about 12 miles from here.
Ran into Peter Branden and his wife in the museum. Peter is an ophthalmologist in CT who we have known for many years. Light rain showers now, but nothing like we heard they got on Long Island or the CT coast. Might take in a movie tonight instead of a big dinner.

You two did not need to go all the way to Portland for coffee – we keep a pound of their “Old Port Blend” at home – love it.
Try dinner on Munjoy Hill
Cheers!
