As we worked our way down to the Opera House the sky took on an eerie glow. Although a sunny afternoon there was a strange haze. It was hot and windy. We learned that bush fires were burning all around Sydney and the surrounding hills. It created an interesting sky. We took a tour of the Opera House and then sat outside “the sails” sipping wine, eating sushi and other morsels and enjoying the unusual dusk and sunset as a cruise ship departed the harbor. We finished the day with a performance of South Pacific in the Opera House. Another wonderful day.
