Our first Afternoon in Ranthambhone Tiger Preserve was a great success. Almost immediately we came upon a female Bengal tiger and her 3 cubs. They had just killed a deer and were enjoying their meal (you can see that in one of the pictures). Tigers in the wild are beautiful, powerful animals.
We also saw Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Wild Boar, Crockadiles, Peacocks (India’s national bird), Storks, TreePies, Parakeets, numerous other birds, and of course hundreds of monkies.
How serene after the throngs of humanity. Looking forward to seeing more…….
