About a 2 1/2 mile bike ride from our Marina along the coast North Beach is a small resort town for people vacationing from inland. It has a boardwalk about a mile long, two beaches with sea nettle protection, and a brand new fishing pier that has lots of comfy benches and pretty decorations. Looking north from the pier you can see the Bay Bridge north of Annapolis about 20 miles away. So after prepping the boat this morning for our absence while in Detroit we spent a lazy afternoon and visited North Beach as well. We returned there this evening as they have a large farmers market, craft fair, antique auto show on Friday evenings.
