When Ann was in high school many years ago, she participated in an international competition called the Macabi Games in Cleveland. There she met an Aussie high schooler by the name of Thomas Herz. They became friends, stayed in touch and Ann visited him in Australia and Thomas came here and spent time with us up in Vermont. Years later, Thomas, now married to Dani moved to NYC to work with UBS for several years. Not only did he and Dani continue their relationship with Ann and now Mike, but they also spent lots of time with Erica and Matt.
Tonight the relationship continues. Dani and Thomas picked us up to visit with them and their children, Jada and Reilly, at their house, and then the four of us went out to dinner on the beach by the sea at Donovan’s Restaurant in Melbourne. It was scrumptious and we had a wonderful time renewing relationships.
