We sailed back north to the eastern shore and the Delmarva Peninsula again. Started out with fantastic winds but they only lasted about half of the trip. We motorsailed the remainder. On the way we saw Bald Eagles, Grey Pelicans, Osprey, and even the occasional Snowbird sailing south. Our travels took us up the Choptank River and then to a tiny isolated Cove off of a small creek where we were virtually the only boats in sight except for the fishermen crabbing and tonging for oysters. To say it was peaceful would be an understatement. A bit of kayaking and exploring then a nice dinner together.
